Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Peter Drucker 1) What was the general theme or argument of the book? Despite the belief that the mid-17s were coined the ‘no-growth period,” that era create countless jobs which filled up the loss that was being felt in lost jobs in traditional sector. Society was transforming from a managerial to an entrepreneurial economy. Entrepreneurship needs to be a constant in our society just like our focus on management. We need to continue to focus on how our products and services create value to customers. Hi Emily,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your video. You had great presence and were very enthusiastic which kept me engaged. You explained very well how your service would help others, but I think you should definitely talk more about how you would set up your idea and execute it in your pitch. Also, I would not discount your idea by saying that water repellent sprays are not a novel idea. Someone who may be a possible investor may get skeptical real quick if you say something like that, even if it may be trivial. Be confident and tell everyone how your service really can help people and how it has never been done before. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!
Emily,
ReplyDeleteI loved your video and it was really engaging. You were very confident throughout the video and did not stutter. It was very well prepared. Your engaging questions really made your pitch great and your tone of voice was also very engaging. Focus on how this idea has never been done before, and make sure you explain how you will get your product out there. Will you promote it online? Will you use the internet for others to schedule when they will get to enjoy your service?
Hey Emily!
ReplyDeleteI'm commenting on your post because only one other person in my group did their pitch. I'm so glad I found yours though, because it was truly engaging. Your constant smiling, body language, and tone of voice are the elements that showed your passion for your product. It seems like you memorized your pitch, because it truly sounded like you were talking to me instead of reading a script (like I did with mine, whoops). As for your business idea, I think you'd have a lot of success with it especially since Gainesville is known as a city that gets a lot of rain. Good work!
